Debra Taylor has a strong grasp of the Organization's core values and models her behavior accordingly. She is a mentor for new hires, instilling this strong sense of pride and ownership in their development and orientation from the onset. She provides excellent care to the neonates and ensures that parents feel welcome and secure in the care provided. She strives for superior results, serving on the Professional Practice Committee as chairman, then, continuing as a resource for the committee. Debra is active with the March of Dimes and with St. Jude's. She is open and honest with co-workers, MDs, NNPs and ancillary staff. She provides a non-threatening atmosphere to help keep the lines of communication open. These are the reasons she deserves the DAISY Award.
