This nurse helped me right after I came home from surgery. I was scared in pain and had many questions. I couldn’t look at my incisions. I had a pain pump and 2 drains. I needed someone to help me and my spouse with emptying and measuring fluids. So overwhelming! She helped us with all of this. She explained everything that was going on. She helped me with safe ways to shower and tips on exercises I can do in the shower. She really educated me on things I didn’t even think of. I felt so safe knowing she would be coming each day. She was so patient with me and always helped me to have confidence in myself. She wouldn’t let me beat myself up and feel ugly (which I did). She was my “Guardian Angel”.
