DeCarlton is one of the gentlest caregivers I have ever met. He is always concerned about my mother's physical condition and took great pains to be sure her fragile skin was not bruised or torn. He lifted her so gently and easily she said it felt like she was riding a cloud. His care extended beyond the physical to the emotional. He patiently listened to my mom's often repeated questions and answered them again and again. He filled the room with laughter which lifted my spirit as well as moms. After her death, when he wasn't on duty, he and his wife called me to ask if they could help in any way. His caring was never-ending.
