Declan Boldy, BSN, RN

My son has been here for 20 days. I am from Florida. When my son was not intubated all he talked about was the nurse, Declan Boldy. Caring and compassionate. I got a chance to meet him myself and he has been nothing but wonderful. He has not been my son's nurse since I have been here, but every day he checks in on my son and me. He cares, really wish there was more nurses like him. He deserves a medal.

Declan has gone above and beyond for my husband. Even on days he had classes, he came to check on us. My husband was extremely comfortable with him, and we were able to get more done. Declan has made a huge impact on our family and we will forever be grateful for him.

Declan has followed through with everything he promised. Declan even held my mom’s hand when she cried from being overwhelmed. He has called family to give updates, offered something to eat and drink to family who had been at the hospital all day and not eaten. This nurse shows compassion, respect, empathy, and professionalism. Declan is THE most dedicated nurse I have encountered and deserves recognition for his commitment to health care and his patients.
