February 2015 Honoree
dee kalder, RN
When I heard my father was brought by ambulance to PVH, I was worried that he might not get the care and attention he needed. When I arrived at 1:30 am, I was immediately allowed to see him and Dee updated me on his condition. She showed so much compassion and was so attentive that I almost cried. I expected limited care and RNs too busy to pay attention to subtle changes. Dee heard all my concerns and responded with kindness and thoroughness. I was able to leave to go home and sleep knowing my dad was in good, caring hands. Thank you.
Thank you, Dee, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
