Deena Nash, RN
Deena is an amazing educator who continually strives to make LSMC the best place to receive care. Deena handles multitasking very well and always has a “yes first” attitude. She helps me with our Nurse Externs and has been crucial in helping me build relationships with them and helps me match them with great preceptors. She also does all of their onboarding checkoffs, which is so helpful. Deena has an infectiously positive personality and truly exemplifies the HCA Mission, Vision, and Values.

She is always more than willing to jump in and assist where needed, and takes pride in making connections with the staff and nursing leaders. She contributes to learning projects, new initiatives, and staff needs, and is a wealth of knowledge. I have seen her put everything aside to help out in urgent situations. She brings a friendly face and encouragement to any interaction.

She has a way of engaging and teaching in such a kind way. It didn't matter if she was "your" unit educator or not; she makes a point to get to know everyone and be a wonderful resource. Deena is definitely more than worthy and deserving of this award.
