Deena was wonderful the whole time we were there. She treated both my family and my husband (patient) like people. She explained everything that was going on and everything that was coming up. She gave us hope. She provided water to drink, directions, and reminded me to take care of myself. Even when my husband was unconscious she spoke to him by name and explained who she was and what she was doing. She was attentive even though she had other patients and was always on top of his treatment. When a doctor upset us with what he said, she asked him to come back in and explain further to calm our fears. It is unusual to find a nurse who will stand up to a doctor just because of the emotions of the family members. When my husband woke up she was kind, but firm in getting him to take care of himself and follow the doctor's orders. I cannot say enough good things about Deena.
