Deidre Ortega, BSN, RN
Deidre, our nurse last night, was something else. I was able to talk with her about my baby, about my wife (who couldn't be here with us.) I told her how my wife would talk in a high-pitched baby voice to calm our son. For the rest of the night, Deidre did the same! It made me feel safer, and my son seemed to be so much more at peace. It was enough for my heart to stop racing, and for this sleep-deprived Dad to close his eyes.
