Deirdra is a very special compassionate nurse because she goes far beyond all expectations to take care of her customers and all their needs. This evening I found out my doctor is having me transferred to ICU to get a special IV drip for my blood pressure, which is spiking. She spoke with me so very kindly and understood how upsetting this move was to me. Deirdra personally helped me get things together, so I could take a quick shower as I had not gotten to shower in days because I was so sick. She stayed with me and made sure I was medically and emotionally doing well. I was upset enough about going to ICU without having a shower and smelling bad. Deirdra is so very special, compassionate and kind. She is a very understanding, wise and caring nurse. She is empathetic and sympathetic. Deirdra allowed me to have the emotions I had and let me know it was okay. She also puts the patient and their needs and cares first, as it should be. She has a way of making you feel you are the only patient she has, and that she is on top of all that is going on and will take care of it. She is a very compassionate and wise nurse.
