Deirdre took the time to intently understand our daughter’s situation, conditions, and tendencies which helped her to notice slight changes in her behavior and responses to treatments to help inform her opinion of what should happen next. Deirdre always advocated for the best course of treatment with minimal distress caused to our daughter, which was so much appreciated considering the stress she faced during her time in the ICU. With her health condition continuously changing whether by reacting to treatments or natural progression, Deirdre was always on top of it and provided amazing support to help her back to health. A huge benefit was her relationships with the rest of the team. It was such a relief to have this stable and firm support throughout the process it made a terrible situation much more manageable.
