I was getting discharged, and Home Health was not going to be able to come to see me and change my dressing until Monday the following week. Deja came back after 4:00 to change my wound vac and also showed my family and me how to care for my wound and the home machine. I had discharge orders all morning, but nobody called her until around lunch. When she walked into the room, she was smiling and happy. She was very gentle and sweet to me because it was really painful. When I saw her fanny pack, I remembered seeing her around 9 am leaving. I appreciate her for coming out late to help me. She’s an amazing nurse!
