My daughter and I are so grateful for Delaney and her being sweet and being kind toward R, and in her professional and compassionate means of handling a very emotional transition, from an aggressive treatment program to comfort care. R has been a demanding and challenging patient due to the difficulty of understanding his speech, managing his issues with claustrophobia, and his frequent difficulty getting comfortable. R, after he moved to Comfort Care, asked for a raspberry carbonated drink, and Delaney went all the way to the children's hospital to find him such a drink to honor his wishes. Delaney is a gem!

Delaney was our nurse on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 15 and 16. It was a traumatic time for us as L had gone to the ER for a leg problem on Monday, but discovered cancer. Delaney took good care of her, exceptionally good. She was kind and considerate and even watched out for us, so that an in-room bone marrow biopsy could take place in a suitable space. She was also present for the biopsy and afterwards was able to affirm her confidence in the doctors about a couple of odd things that happened during the biopsy. She was very professional in making sure that the procedure was of the highest quality, and we were very grateful.
