Delbra always shows concern to me as patient when I am in her office. She closes the door for privacy when talking about my visit. She always shows respect, calls me by name and asks if I need anything even if she she is not my nurse. She works well with my doctor, going over my care plan and follow up. She is always at the forefront helping all the doctors and RNs in the clinic. She can explain all my medications and treatments. She leads other nurses to do better and shows them how to do thing better. She is a good representative of Parkland's motto of personalizing patient care. She has shown such great care and compassion when I am in the infusion room. She has a gentle touch, gives great hugs and makes me feel important and loved. She always has a heart warming smile, is always professional, humble in spirit, polite and caring. She is hardworking and quick on her feet. She always make sure that the patient is comfortable. She is very special to me and deserves the DAISY Award.
