When our Dad was admitted to your hospital it was a very hard time for my brother and me, and as the week went on we received test results that told us he had colon cancer which also covered his liver. At this time, Delia was our father's nurse. She was so compassionate and caring to our Dad and to our family. She did not hesitate to hug us at anytime as we needed it.

She was very helpful in getting staff together to make decisions regarding his final days. She introduced us to Social Services, Hospice and the Case Manager.

She made sure our Dad was kept very comfortable and not in pain. She also helped us with anything we needed, even if it was getting us a chair or bottle of water. You should be proud of her for the job she does.
