Della is amazing! She is such an asset to Nemours' organization. She currently works in multiple specialty divisions here at Nemours. She is always smiling and happy wherever she is on that particular day. She is hard working. She is always available and responsive to the needs of others. She maintains a positive and motivated disposition that is inspirational. She is very well respected by her peers and beloved by all the staff. She demonstrates discretionary effort outside her normal RN duties with being a float in Urology/other divisions, being a BLS instructor as well as being a member of the Autism Committee. She is an extraordinary nurse!

Della has gone above and beyond for our patients in Urology. Most recently, she provided resources for a non-verbal patient. The child was attempting to potty train. Mom called in requesting any tips or resources she could use. Della stepped up and used her knowledge pertaining to autism to provide Mom with great resources on how to communicate with non-verbal children. Even though this child was not diagnosed with autism the resources Della provided were helpful and appreciated. I have made note of these resources and plan on using them in the future to help other parents/children going through the same experience.
Della is an amazing nurse. She is always willing to help in any way she can. She has a joyful spirit and always has a smile. I have received numerous compliments from co-workers and providers in my division attesting to Della's wonderful attitude.
