Delleene is a respected nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Sutter Lakeside Hospital. Over the last year, Delleene has been nominated for the DAISY award by three separate patients and/or their families.

Each nomination has depicted Delleene as a competent, caring and compassionate nurse who goes above and beyond to ensure that each patient not only receives quality clinical care but is supported emotionally as well. One family has had multiple Sutter Lakeside Hospital experiences in which Delleene has cared for them. No matter who is admitted from their family, they know when they see Delleene, that they will be in good hands. It is apparent, through the stories of these 3 families' nominations, that Delleene is a role model of customer service and is a nurse that strives to always provide a positive patient experience.

Delleene is an inspiration, she is a role model for her commitment to the patient experience, and is a constant reminder of why we are here to care for our patients mind, body and soul.
