My mother came in very ill and had a hard-fought stay in the ICU. She was critical the entire stay until she passed. We have a large family that was in and out taking shifts to spend time with our mom the entire stay. Delmar made it a point to ask about all of us. He got to know us, where we were from, and our kids' names and he remembered! Beyond being a stellar nurse that cared for my mom, he made an impossible situation that much easier for the family. He would come by when he was not assigned to her room to make sure we were doing ok and had everything we needed (above and beyond the call of duty)!
