Delsa was nominated by a family on the Surgical/Cardiology Unit. The family's experience with Delsa starting their child's IV was a positive one. She put the family and the patient at ease. The family stated they knew she genuinely cared about the patient's condition as well as the child's over all comfort. Exhibiting patient and family centered care made the family much more comfortable about their entire stay here at the hospital.
