My husband brought me to the hospital as I was having trouble breathing. I was told I had A-fib and was admitted to the hospital after they got my breathing under control. I was very scared until I met my nurse, Dena. She put me at ease right away. What a great personality she has. She taught me what I didn't know about A-fib. She made me feel like she really cared about me. She spoke to me in simple words, not technical words, so I understood. I don't know her, but I love her.

Dena was very helpful and kind to my husband. She made sure he understood what was going on and talked to him and had a very pleasant attitude when asked any questions. I think she well deserves this award.
