Dena has taken the time to individually get to know each staff member and also has taken the time to listen as we voice our comments and concerns but, it never stops there. She takes our comments and concerns and turns them into action, doing as much as she can to help facilitate the changes we need. She has built trusting relationships with her staff. I don't think she even realizes how much she does for us and how much our team appreciates her. She steps in where ever she is needed; no task is too small or too big for her. I've seen her stocking linen closets to help the techs, seen her helping nurses with difficult patients or patient family situations, helping staff work through stressful days by simply begin a listening ear.
Her leadership skills are outstanding. She has such a genuine, ambitious, and selfless spirit which is a great motivation to her staff. She has set high standards for great patient outcomes and staff satisfaction. She is the epitome of a spectacular nursing leader. Her trustworthiness and stellar leadership are what makes her highly respected within the organization.
