Dena White, LPN

Dena always goes above and beyond for her Veterans. In one example, she stayed after her shift to help a homeless Veteran in need. She worked hard and efficiently to get the Veteran new shoes that he desperately needed. In addition, she worked with social work to get the Veteran access to the clothing room. She collaborated with social work to provide the maximum level of help the VA was able to give this Veteran. This is just one of the many examples of her going about and beyond the call of duty to help Veterans. She never complains about any tasks and always works hard for the department and for the Veterans. I believe that Dena is a true DAISY Nurse.
