Deniese Dodson, RN

In my 80 years of living, I have never had anyone in the medical world meet my mental and emotional needs like Deniese did when I checked into my room. I had just heard the dreaded "c" word for the first time, and Deniese stood in the doorway of my room and shared with me her life experience with cancer. As she shared her heart and life with me, I honestly felt that an angel was talking to me. It was a life-changing experience. I wholeheartedly think she is worthy of this award. She truly is a remarkable nurse!
