Denise was nominated by a patient for consistently going above and beyond when she would come in for her infusions. The patient disclosed becoming anxious and fearful after experiencing a significant reaction after an infusion. The patient stated that Denise offered reassurance and proactively acted to ensure the patient would not have further reactions from her necessary treatments. The patient stated, "Denise heard me. She listened to me and stayed by my side. She did not dismiss my fears. She saved me and took care of my body, mind, and heart. Denise demonstrated empathy and compassion and fought for me as a patient."
