I was recently at the surgery center for a procedure. After the procedure, Denise was my nurse. She was absolutely wonderful and went out of her way to make me comfortable. I was pregnant at the time of the procedure and was very nervous about the surgery negativity impacting the baby. Denise made sure I knew that my baby was perfectly healthy. She also protected my baby when I was still too disoriented to do so by noticing another nurse was about to perform an x-ray nearby and covering my belly with the apron to prevent the baby from being exposed to radiation. I feel that Denise went above and beyond what is required or expected of her and demonstrated excellence in her work.
