Denise listened to her and gave her time and patience reaffirming what was real and what was not real in kind and comfortable words.
My daughter is a patient and I would like to let you know that Denise Childress-Banks has done an excellent job as a nurse for my daughter G. She has been a great support and has given me a lot of help, guidance, and encouragement in these difficult days. I watched as Denise took the initiative to accommodate G in a room closer to the nurses' station in order to have more access to her since she was very lost and very scared. I also watched as Denise listened to G when she wanted to say how she felt or what she felt; Denise listened to her and gave her time and patience reaffirming what was real and what was not real in kind and comfortable words. Denise also helped me by reassuring me that G would be well cared for, listening to my concerns, and giving me important information about G's recovery process or mental stability.

The leadership and work ethic of Denise Childress-Banks is worthy of evaluation and recognition. Denise would be a great example for the rest of the staff of how to do their job even when it has not been their best day or when they are having a difficult day as it is very common in this real world. I hope you will consider my opinion and excellent experience for me and my daughter who is a patient at Methodist Behavioral Health. I hope that you recognize Denise Childress-Banks' effort, dedication, and commitment to her patients, her work, and her colleagues so that she feels valued, appreciated, and recognized as she continues to share and display her excellent leadership and professional ethics.
