Denise is the true meaning of compassion, caring, and dedication to her patients. She expressed empathy while still taking care of many patients on the floor. Today was a hard day for me and my family, getting the news that I might have a tumor in my lungs. I completely broke down. Denise was there, reminded me to be strong, and listened to me cry. Showing true compassion. She told me that it was all right to cry. It was all right to be scared. That was the most amazing thing to do, in my opinion.
