Denise Devos, BSN, RN

I had my first son. I was really nervous going into labor and delivery because I was unsure if I would be able to have an epidural at all, due to a previous big spinal fusion in my teenage years. I did try to have an epidural, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. I was scared. Denise Devos did a good job comforting me. I specifically remember her holding my hand and being sad with me as I felt miserable. She did everything in her power to try to get me more help and make me feel comfortable. The reason I’m doing this two years later is that she had a lasting impact on my life. When I think of my labor experience, she is at the forefront of my mind. She is amazing and deserves to be recognized; I know that she still randomly crosses my mind.
