Denise German-Cox, LPN

Denise German-Cox, LPN, has been a practicing professional nurse with Tidelands Health Georgetown Memorial since May 1989. She consistently goes above and beyond the expectations of her patients, families, and the team that she serves. Denise was recognized as a DAISY nominee by a nursing colleague from our sister facility, Tidelands Health Waccamaw Community Hospital. The recognition was a gesture of support and appreciation for her unwavering commitment to patient care. She was reassigned to work in the Critical Care Unit due to staffing shortages in the unit. Denise arrived with the genuine smile that she wears as the badge of honor for nursing. During the shift assignment, Denise was described as a team player, a compassionate caregiver, and a positive light who made the day much brighter.
