We had to deliver our stillborn baby, a devastating first time experience for us. From the moment the shift switched to daytime and Denise came into the room, she provided exceptional loving care. She went above and beyond to not only be there for us as a nurse, but also to help us begin our grieving journey. She was more than our nurse, she was the first (after the Dr) to provide loving, tender, support emotionally, mentally and stood behind us as we had to hand our baby to the funeral home. She gave us sincere hugs as we left the hospital. As devastating as the experience and situation was, we never could’ve dreamed of a better experience given the situation. Denise made our first days of sorrow and grieving as good as they could be.
