Denise was in our room several times. The first time she was there to do an ultrasound on my husband’s bladder. She was professional and calm. She let us know what to expect and why she was there. Later in the day, she was there to administer medicine and check my husband’s progress after doing the Foley. As the day progressed she monitored his breathing, BP, and other vitals, being considerate and informative every step of the way, explaining medical terms and why she was doing what was necessary with the navigation of the medical procedures. Nurse Denise is an example to follow to relate with the patients. NEA has great staff and doctors.

Denise seems to enjoy her job and is very patient. She always checks in every hour and she truly cares for my grandmother. She was especially patient with my grandfather who isn’t as patient. He was very angry and she dealt with it better than anyone could have. She calmed him down and helped him come to a decision about hospice for my grandmother.
