Denise Lawler 2, BSN, RN

Denise always explains and patiently answers new families' questions, but for one mom and baby, Denise went above and beyond. This mom was new in our country with no family and she did not speak English. Denise spent countless hours with the interpreters assessing the safety of this mom's living situation and finding and connecting this mom with as many resources as she could. She tirelessly worked with the mom teaching her about her baby's needs after discharge. When Similac gave the baby a case of formula after discharge, Denise delivered the formula to the mom. Denise showed so much compassion to this mom.
