Denise shows teamwork, dedication, and patient centered care. Denise has always been an extraordinary help whenever we, in OB, are in need of help. She can come over and "jump right in" without any direction or questions. She can assess our situation and take initiative to help in any way she can. She is always a team player. On Tuesday night shift, she was charge nurse on Med/Surg. Throughout her shift, she came to our aid to help with patients while we were in a delivery and started making charts and filling out log books. She again came for help and got orders for a patient who needed help with pain issues. Yet again (3rd time without complaints) she arrived as our shift was ending and took initiative to medicate patients as well as getting ready to go to the OR and care a new outpatient.

Denise is always going above and beyond and shows exceptional teamwork and leadership. She is often charge nurse during night shift. Whenever she is charge things always run smoothly and she is constantly offering a helping hand and answers call lights when the primary nurse is stuck in with another patient. I greatly appreciate Denise and I think she is a wonderful nurse. She always stays busy and does duties that are not the charge responsibility (chart checks and doing admission assessments). Thank you Denise, your hard work does not go unnoticed.
