Ms. Denise Quail, Director of Nursing for Home Care Administration, takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values, Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence, through empathic communication and partnerships between team members. She collaborated with other Directors of Nursing to provide strategic direction and oversight of nursing quality improvement initiatives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Through strong leadership, she led the quality improvement team in the preparation for the Department of Health Survey. She encouraged, inspired, and motivated teammates during the preparation and oversaw the collection, analysis, and integration of data and clinical chart reviews to identify trends, outcomes, and areas for improvement, while ensuring the alignment of quality improvement activities with the organizational mission, vision, and strategic goals.

She also strived to ensure compliance with the Department of Health and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Regulations. Additionally, she demonstrated necessary skills for team building and leveraged open communication to promote team collaboration.
