I must start by saying that I have had way too many surgeries over the years. I must also tell you I hated staying at LGH, because I never felt I received good care. My stay this time was nothing like the past. From the moment I was admitted to the floor till I was discharged, I was taking care of like I was the only patient. When the nurse, Denise, introduced herself, she was smiling and made me feel at ease. She even took the time to get me out of bed that day and walk with me. She checked on me constantly to see if I was comfortable, or needed anything. And when I asked for anything, it was done right away! From the aide to housekeeping, the staff on that floor rocks! They are amazing. I had no concerns for the first time. My nurse took the time to go over things that I would question and put all my worries to rest. I almost felt like they were extended family. Please make sure Denise and all your staff know how they made me feel.
