I was admitted and two days later I was told I have lung cancer. I was a mess, crying, not able to comprehend. Denise told me I had tests to do so not to worry. I was so confused, to say the least. She comforted me and that evening she gave me a (My Health) binder. She said it would help me. I opened it that evening and inside was everything I was going to endure, she put each test with notes of what to expect. She got me organized and really helped me understand that cancer is not a death sentence.
