She is so clued in with her patients and can clinically assess her patients to determine if they are deteriorating or improving. She is an extremely conscientious, extremely competent and gifted nurse. In all my years of training and all the hospitals I have worked in, she is one of the best nurses I have worked alongside. I would take her with me wherever I go.

When Denise came to St. Anne's Ward she was very quiet. When I spoke to her she told me she was very shy. A few years later Denise is still quiet and shy however her beautiful smile, full of understanding and compassion shines out like a beacon. Over the last two weeks, in particular, her dedication, meticulous nursing care, compassionate communication to both her patients and families know no bound. A small detail but most poignant the combing of her patient's hair. The fixing of his sheets and pillow. The touch of hand to his forehead. One of her standards of nursing and medical care with attention to detail and how well she knows the patient. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
