Denise Williams, RN, BSN

Denise showed incredible compassion, intelligence, and dedication while caring for our beloved husband and father during his hospital stay. While he was always her top priority, Denise also understood that our family needed care and support too. This was an extremely difficult and emotional time for us. Our family was crowded into an overflow area that wasn’t designed for family presence, yet Denise did everything she could to make us as comfortable as possible. Her thoughtfulness in such a challenging situation meant more than we can express.

Denise took the time to recognize our anxiety and stress, answering our questions with calm, honesty, and clarity—even when the answers were hard to hear. When we were moved to a bigger room, she was the charge nurse and made sure to stop by frequently to see if we had everything we needed. She offered genuine emotional support through simple but meaningful gestures, like bringing food and drinks and offering hugs when we needed comfort the most.

Her compassion, professionalism, and advocacy made a lasting difference for our family during one of the hardest moments of our lives. Denise truly represents the very best of nursing, and she is deeply deserving of this recognition.
