Denisse is one of the most compassionate, empathetic, empowering nurses I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She is a patient advocate - I have frequently seen Denisse go above and beyond to protect and empower her patients. She is kind an unbelievably generous with her time and money.
On Easter Denisse went out on her break to buy treats and craft activities for patients. She does not expect anything in return or desire attention, but does this because she is passionate and loves bringing joy to others. Denisse is an extraordinary nurse for many reasons - she's the type of nurse that other nurse's - myself included - want to be like and this is a small piece of what makes her extraordinary.
