I had been at the hospital all day with my 86 year old friend who had broken her hip and a fall several days prior. This nurse was with her when she arrived. They were able to fill me in as I learned the situation. That night, the nurse offered to find me a recliner so that I could spend the night if I wanted. This nurse came every hour that night to help my friend to the bathroom since she was a fall risk and needed assistance. This nurse was good-humored about it all. They were prompt, efficient, and compassionate. When this nurse learned that my friend had lost her charger for her hearing aids in another room, they offered to go up and look. They were genuinely concerned. This nurse is humble, kind, caring, and made a noticeable difference. My friend was calmer and well cared for. I had to go home and work and this nurse would be my friend nurse again so I know I won’t have to worry about her safety and care when I leave, I know she is in good hands with this nurse!
