Dennis Ward, RN

No matter what kind of day everyone is having, Dennis always answers the phone in a positive mood. He always has a willingness to help others. Whether a call is being made about a bed assignment, transfer updates, random questions, or just to “complain,” he always listens. Dennis demonstrates great responsibility by promptly returning our calls and answering all of our questions. Although the answer to our questions may not always be what we want, Dennis shares the information in a personal, positive way. The behind-the-scenes work done does not go unnoticed. He shows a strong desire to care for patients and support employees and staff. Dennis may even text in all caps, and we know that he is not mad, but just how he texts. It is the little things that make us laugh and brighten our day. Dennis is an excellent example of a nurse who embodies many cornerstones of true patient advocacy. He handles everything thrown his way professionally.
