As a phlebotomist, we go to many of the departments and see Deron work in Mountain View, ICU, and also the ER. We could always tell he cared for his patients by the way he interacted with them. He’s always so kind and easygoing. I had a close family friend that was in the ICU and the family said so many great things about Deron! The way he was so kind to the family and answered any questions they had. The family told me how appreciative they were to have had him as their mother’s nurse brushing her hair, putting chapstick on her lips they knew she was in good hands. When she passed away, Deron was there and he comforted the family the best hat he could. They told me that day is a day they would never forget and thankful they had such an amazing nurse there. We should have more nurses like Deron who care so much about his patients and understand the concerns families may have. Deron made a big impression on the family and they will be forever grateful for his skilled passion.
