My mom went into the COVID unit this summer. Desaray was her nurse for 2 days, once while she was so sick we didn't know if she'd make it and once on the day that she went home. She was encouraging and kind every time I talked to her. I appreciated the fact that she was very honest about what bad things could happen, but as positive as she could be. Based on specific things she told me about my mom, I could tell she had spent time with her and I appreciated that so much! When you can't see your loved ones, the nurses are your only link to them, it means so much to know they are caring as conscientiously as Desaray. When I dropped off a suitcase for my mom, Desaray and I were able to meet and I was able to tell her how much I appreciated her.
