I spent a month in the VA hospital for a staph infection and was addicted to drugs. I was very angry and not in the right state of mind. Desiree always treated me with respect and gave me hope that I could recover and get better. There was a situation that happened where the housekeeper mistakenly threw away my wallet and clothes so I asked around to the other nurses and staff if they had seen my property and Desiree went out of her way and found my property in the garbage and returned it to me. She is a top talent and goes out of her way to make the Veteran's experience at the hospital as pleasant as possible.
