Desiree goes above and beyond in taking care of patients with Parkinson's Disease. Desiree shows amazing compassion towards every single patient who has had deep brain stimulation leads placed within their brain. Her role as the stimulator coordinator is to counsel and take care of these patients. Desiree is frequently called in on evenings and weekends, and she is always willing to help with patients from across the entire Intermountain Range. Desiree follows over 600 patients that have received this complicated technology that has made their lives completely turnaround. Desiree connects with her patients on a very personal level and is so deserving of the DAISY Award.
