Desiree was the best possible nurse I could have imagined. She should be in charge of training all the new nurses coming up. She was 110% on point with my wife's care, but also her comfort.
She cared enough about my wife to make sure that she appeared comfortable and peaceful. She made sure to use ChapStick on her lips, and to make sure the ventilator tubes weren't tugging on her face, things like that.
Her overall demeanor was notable, especially when interacting with other family members and me. She was the absolute pinnacle of the entire experience, and I cannot stress to you enough how much she deserves this recognition for her graceful way of doing what she did.
