Desiree was nominated by a patients' family member who stated that Desiree goes the extra mile every single day. She describes how Desiree assessed that the patient's pain level was not improving and advocated for an X-ray to be completed because of the patients' history of previous fractures. It was discovered that the patient had a new pelvic fracture, which in diagnosing, lead to an improved plan for her pain management and care.
