Desiree is an absolutely wonderful nurse. Although she has only been a nurse for a few years, her ability to show compassion and caring in her daily interactions with patients and their families goes beyond experience and has truly come from the heart. Her pleasant demeanor is appreciated by patients, as they honestly feel she is truly happy to be caring for them. She is set apart by the way she really makes sure patients know she is listening to them. 

One patient wrote, “The moment I arrived in the room, she greeted me with a smile and happiness. She cared and provided me with everything I asked of her. She is an EXCELLENT listener! She is kind and caring. She takes the initiative to help. She is an awesome person with an excellent attitude. She is precise at work and has great knowledge. Nurses are good in general... and she is SUPER good. I am in lots of pain, but I’m happy to be her patient.” 

Another wrote, “Desiree has been EXTRAORDINARY! She really listens. When I told her I was having issues and just could not urinate with the catheter in bed, she helped me up and got me to the bathroom. This was a lot of work after my knee replacement, but I could tell it didn’t bother her at all. I also had terrible back pain after my epidural. When I said I had back pain where the Anesthesiologist had been poking around, she was so careful to help me get comfortable in bed. She supported me with pillows and placed a warm pack on my back. She is clearly a caring person and a devoted nurse. I was so lucky she was assigned to my care.”
