...In our two most recent stays Desiree was the most outstanding nurse in a long string of wonderful nurses. She anticipated our needs and fulfilled them at the highest level of competency and assessment skills and acted on that assessment to implement measures to assure the patient's comfort and well-being while undergoing painful procedures. Desiree demonstrated that she is the perfect team player by carefully Listening to the nurse at shift change and very importantly, she always gave a thorough orientation to the nurse coming at her shift change. Desiree deserves to receive the DAISY Award for service, knowledge, commitment to excellence and most of all for taking a very personal interest in each of her patients she is a huge credit to her profession and to her employer.
