From the moment I arrived, due to my situation and some activities from my life and past, everyone seems to be nice but treat me differently. Desiree is the only one who makes me feel welcome and normal. She is always friendly to me. Always engaging in conversation with me. Always going out of her way to make sure I have everything I ask for no matter big or small. She never makes me feel stupid for any requests I have. I am going to be here for almost two months and I suffer from depression, anxiety, and social paranoia. I know that with Desiree around it will help the time move faster. I wish more nurses were like her. I get excited when I see she is working. she is a positive influence on her patients and their healing. Thank you! I have never had someone show me the kindness or impressed me like her.
