Des was awesome!! My husband had surgery, and she was very sensitive to his feelings, being this was his first surgery/hospital stay at the age of 65. She also did an amazing job keeping him, and myself informed of what was going on. She was his nurse before the surgery until the very end of taking him to his hospital room (a total of 7 hours), which I think works very well, so you don’t have several different nurses involved during this period of time. Thanks again to Des for making my husband’s stay during his surgery day a better experience. We couldn’t have asked for a more caring and loving nurse.
